Welcome Chemistry Scholars!

Helping others assimilate chemical understanding has provided me with much gratification. Since the fall of 1998 Casper College has given me the opportunity to teach; quantitative analysis (CHEM-2230), chemistry I & II (CHEM 1025, 1035), Introductory organic chemistry (CHEM 2300), basic chemistry, and the corresponding laboratories.

Some good chemistry sites.
The self-test page is a collection of questions on topics found in the chemistry courses. Students, be sure you can answer these correctly. Keep in mind that these pages do not cover all of the material in the course ;-)
Chemical Genealogy

Go all the way back to 1780. Read about I.M. Kolthoff, an analyical man.

Below is a link to Ran Kaufman’s site. I wish all of my students would give up tv for their academic years. Of course if one gives up tv they might go and get an opinion out of step with the masses.
